DBQ: Imitation?

Just as Paul urges the Corinthians to imitate him, do you think there is a place in Christian ministry and mentorship for imitation of people who have an exemplary “way of life in Christ Jesus” (1 Cor 4:16-17)? Indeed, do you think we could think of ministry and mentorship as passing on the way of life in Christ Jesus?
