The patron saint of Scotland is St Andrew. Today was St Andrew’s Day. We happen to live in the town of St Andrews. So, there were many festivities. Tonight we joined rest of the crowds braving the freezing weather to hear/watch the drums and pipes, followed by a ceilidh in the streets (we are eager [...]

Son et Lumiere
On Friday night, Stephanie and I went to one of the first events of the St Andrews Festival spanning the weekend. Son et Lumiere is a sound and light show displayed on the walls of the old St Andrews Cathedral. It was an impressive sight, and we tried to capture some of the images, without [...]

A glimpse into our worship space
Here is a picture of our Trinity worship space. Its a blessing to be in such a beautiful and intimate space every week. We were amazed to see, however, that we are already pushing the seams a little. It was a full meeting yesterday!

A More Excellent Way: Auctions
I have been on a hunt for a used bike for quite a number of weeks now (while using a borrowed bike), without any success. You would think that in a university town, there would be more bikes for sale. The word on the street is that they go by word of mouth more than [...]

I didn’t personally know a single person that got the swine flu in Mexico City.
By the end of July, the risk of contracting the swine flu was higher [...]

Job update – back to square one
Well, I HAD a job, but now I don’t. Why? Well, honestly, I would like to write a novel about it. Picture this:
An old hotel owned by an Italian man and his British wife. They are business partners, but their marriage soon turns sour and they both want to buy the other half from the [...]
